After watching the last two Deathly Hallows movies, I really wanted to create a Severus Snape outfit of my own.

My first steps into the costuming and cos-play world. These photos show the costume at about 85% completion.

The frock coat was a modified pattern and the robes was all done on my own, no pattern (just a lot of time spent staring at photos and referring to Yvette's Snape costume page here [link])

The robes were done all by hand as the fabric was a bit too difficult to handle in the sewing machine.

The dark mark was added with help from a co-worker, some quick thinking, and a black sharpie. [link] [link]
